1974 Porsche 914 1.8L

Complete chassis restoration. L96M Marathon Blue Metallic.

Walla Walla, WA

We began by disassembling and completely stripping this chassis. It was then blasted and mounted on rotisserie. Very little rust repair was required on this Southern California-delivered 914. Minor battery tray area rust was treated and coated with rust-encapsulating paint. Reinforced front sway bar mounts were welded into the body. Compromised seam sealer in the fuel tank cavity and rear trunk was removed and re-applied. The chassis was re-finished in it’s original L96M Marathon Blue Metallic paint. All suspension components were refinished - powder coated or re-Zinc plated. All bushings, dampers and wearable components were replaced. All braking components were restored/rebuilt. All engine components were also refinished - powder coated or re-Zinc plated. Engine exhaust components were Cerakoted and a new stainless steel muffler installed. The interior was restored with new blue tartan seat covers, dashboard covering and carpeting.
